HISTORY - Established in 1967. EHUFC has a proud and successful 50 year history.  EHUFC have generated some fantastic players over the years with the likes of former Socceroo Coach and player Frank Farina, former Socceroo player and Brisbane Roar Vice Captain Shane Stefanutto and former Socceroo and current Chines Super League player Michael Thwaite all having played for Edge Hill.

MAJOR PROJECTS IN 2016 and 2017 - EHUFC would like to thank the Queensland State Government for their support in granting EHUFC with $100 000 for the lighting upgrade on Field 2 and Field 3 and $100,000 towards our "New Clubhouse Project".  EHUFC would also like to thank the Cairns Regional Council for their support and funding of the new toilets and amenities block due to be built between Field 1 and Field 2 in 2017. These two major projects are expected to be completed by June 2017 and will continue to help the EHUFC move forward. This will provide a fantastic facility for our current players and members and will be sure to attract more players to our game. COACHES   - EHUFC is excited and proud to announce Robert Wales as the Head Coach for 2017.  Rob has been at the club for over 10 years and in 2011 coached the Premier Men's team to the Quadruple, winning the Mareeba Cup, Premiership, Grand Final and Crad Evans. In 2016 Rob combined coaching our Premier Men's team and also coached the Under 13's EHUFC team to another Premiership and Grand Final win. The Premier Ladies team will be coached by Michael Ortiz.

In 2017 we aim to give every coach (Juniors and Seniors) the tools to provide a great coaching session for her/his players. They will be encouraged to attend any coaching course available to pass on their knowledge to the players. Each coach will also have plenty of equipment (balls, cones, bibs, goals and space) to provide a quality training session for their players.

The EHUFC welcomes any new and previous coaches interested in coaching a team in the 2017 season. Anyone interested in coaching can contact the President Glen Waddingham.

SENIOR MALE AND FEMALE TRAINING - Training for the Senior Men's and Youth (Under 18) teams starts on Tuesday the 17th of January and the EHUFC welcomes new and old players for the 2017 season.

FEMALE FOOTBALL - The EHUFC currently has a large number of girls playing in mixed football from Under 6 through to Under 16. In 2017 we will continue to promote and grow female football and we welcome any new junior girls who would like to join the EHUFC and have fun playing a great team sport.
