Cairns 5’s and 7’s

Cairns 5’s and 7s is a 5-a-side and a 7-a-side competition held annually at Tiger Park, Manunda. It is catered to junior players U6 - 15 playing 5-a-side and U16 to Seniors playing 7-a-side format.

This program aims to provide players with a platform to continue playing in the off season whether they are new to the game or a regular player. There is something for everyone to enjoy with both social and competitive pools available.

Cairns 5s also caters to both male and female players and is open to everyone to join.

2024 Cairns 5s and 7s

  • Commencing 11th of October (Every Friday)

  • $80 per player ($115 non-registered players)

  • MIXED

  • Juniors 5-a-side and Seniors 7-a-side

  • 2 games per night

  • Tiger Park, Manunda

WHAT TO EXPECT!

  • Each team plays 2 games a night. Kick off starts from 5pm.

  • Enjoy hot food, refreshing drinks, music and a fully stocked bar! 🌭🍹

FAQs

  • Yes, players are able to register as individual and will be placed into a team that may be looking for more players.

  • Absolutely! however, all non registered players will incur a $115 registration fee that includes a social fee. If you registered and played for a club in QLD, you will only need to pay $80.

  • Depending on the number of team nominations, we aim to provide at least 2 games per night for every individual team.

  • Absolutely! we have both social and competitive competition so there is something for everyone to enjoy!

  • We highly recommend that you wear boots and shin pads to reduce any potential risk of injury.

  • Yes, our canteen will be stocked up with food and drinks throughout the competition.
